Kelpie cross Bono is a super-bright, affectionate boy who is looking for a collie-experienced, active, adult only home. Bono is good on the lead and already knows the commands Sit, Down, Paw, Spin and Heel. (He may know others that we haven't discovered yet!). He also has a very endearing habit of giving you a very gentle hug which is very sweet. Bono hasn't lived with children or ever had any contact with them, so we will only consider an adult-only home for him. He is happy when travelling, fine to be left for short periods and, like most collies, absolutely loves to play with toys, especially a ball. Bono did show some nervousness, but no aggression, when being groomed and the previous owner has reported that although he is good at the vets, he doesn't like his paws being touched. He apparently used to be walked with other dogs in his last home but we have seen some reaction from him towards other dogs at the kennels so he may need some help with socialisation.
Please get in touch if you can give beautiful Bono a loving, forever home.
Bella is a friendly and affectionate girl who loves fuss and attention. As far as we know, poor Bella was abandoned by her previous owner so we have no information at all about her background. She has been friendly with other dogs she has met on site so she may be able to live with another dog. Because of her size, we wouldn't rehome her with small children but we may consider a home for her with sensible, older children. Bella is happy to be groomed, is good at the vets, house-trained, and happy when travelling. She will also happily give up toys. She pulls a little on the lead and will need training on her basic commands, although she does know Sit. As Bella absolutely loves treats, training shouldn't be an issue! Our vet has estimated Bella to be around seven years of age.
Please get in touch if you can give this adorable girl the happy life she deserves. Because she was abandoned, Bella may need an owner who can be with her for most of the time to begin with.
Willow came into our care recently when her owner sadly died. She is completely deaf, but she responds really well to hand signals. Willow is a sweet girl who loves to play with a ball and loves to be fussed. She travels well and is good around farm animals. Willow will need a home where she won't encounter many other dogs as she isn't good with them and will lunge. She's also had seizures in the past, but nothing so serious that needed medication, and she hasn't had a seizure now for over a year. Willow is very overweight at the moment and will need an adopter who can provide her with a sensible diet and regular exercise to help her shed those excess pounds!
We would love to find a forever home for Willow. Please get in touch if you would like to adopt her.
