Cali is a beautiful XL bull breed with a sweet nature. She has developed during her time with us to become a great dog, who loves her walks and cuddles. She can get on with other dogs. We don't know how she might react with cats. Due to her size we are recommending a home with no or older children. She is a big dog, so someone with large dog experience would be preferred. She would love a home where she can bring fun and warmth and be a part of the daily home life.
Autumn came to us as a stray, so we have very little background information. Since arriving she has proved to be a sweet heart. She loves cuddles and being in company. She has shown to be good with the other dogs she has mixed with here. She is a typical lurcher who loves her zoomies and to play for a short spell, but is equally happy comfortable and warm with you. We suspect she may have been used for hunting, so would recommend a home without cats and small furies.
Sam is a friendly energetic boy who loves to have a good run around. He was found as a stray with no microchip, but with a bit of detective work it is believed he lived with an older person who has sadly gone into a home.
Sam is strong on the lead so will need some work in that area and he seems to be ok with other dogs. He has no problem getting into vehicles but he is quite anxious and noisy but hopefully that would improve. His character definitely shows his terrier ancestry, so would suit someone who loves the nature of terriers.

Beau is a friendly affectionate girl, who adores a cuddle and the company of people. Her playful nature makes her a bundle of fun who will be a great companion for the right person. Due to Beau spending a long time in kennels, through no fault of her own, she will need an owner who is patient with her as she readjusts back to living in a home. She is a large dog, so can be powerful on the lead, so someone experienced with handling big dogs would be important. Beau cannot be homed with a cat. We are advising a home with older children due to her size and playful nature. Beau may be able to live with another dog, but can be selective over who she likes, so possibly a well balanced male dog.
Maggie is great example of an Akita and would someone who understands the breed. She shows her affection in subtle ways and she can be playful, but also enjoys her cuddles. Through no fault of her own, she has spent a long time in kennels and may take a bit of readjusting to be back in a home environment. Her kennels is generally clean, so although house training will be needed, we think that she should readily understand it. Although Maggie has previously lived with another dog, we are recommending that she goes home as an only dog. She cannot be rehomed with cats. We are recommending older children or no children. She loves a kennel full of cuddly toys and can walk nicely, but can also pull at times.
