Chris Norman
Qualified in Animal Care and has previous experience working for Wood Green Animal Shelter in Godmanchester. Chris has a natural ability with animals, with his calm approach he is able to win over even the most difficult of animals. Chris has grown up with a variety of animals including German Shepherd Cross, Bull Terrier Cross, Irish Wolf Hound, English Bull Terrier, Tortoises, Parrot, Canary, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Terrapins, Tropical and Cold Water Fish and a Jackdaw. |
Stella Norman
Qualified in Cat and Dog Grooming. Hygiene, Human Nutrition and Food Legislation. Has previous experience working in the food industry auditing quality and food safety. Using her management experience and training in achieving high standards of quality she has applied this to the setting up and running of the Kennels and Cattery. Stella has grown up on an organic small holding where she developed her passion for animals and cared for Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Guinea Fowl, Peacocks, Turkeys, Cows, Pigs, Goat, Sheep, Border Collie, Cats, Guinea Pigs and her own Pony. |
Our family & pets Chris and Stella have three children ; Charlotte (now studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Liverpool), Andrew (Studying Primary Education at Edge Hill University) and Thomas (still at school). Currently Chris and Stella have Fin the Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Freya the Great Dane, Kitty the British Shorthair and Charlie the Parrot. Previously the family have had a German Shepherd, two Great Danes, Guinea pigs, Geese, Chickens,Guinea fowl, Turkeys, Sheep, Hamsters, a Snake, Tropical and cold water fish. |
Sammy gained her NVQ in Animal Care at Kendal Collge and then went on to work at South Lakes Safari Zoo. She has worked with birds including Parrots, Kagaroos, Reptiles, Rabbits, Hedgehogs and Huskies at Muncaster Castle. Sammy has a Jack Russell Terrier ;Rocky, a Jack Russell cross called Rufus and a two terrapins at home. Sammy is a full time member of the team and is working on her NVQ Level 3.

Erin started working weekends for us after doing work experinece. She has rescued a lurcher from us called Layla. Erin is still studying through the week and enjoying her love of animals with us at weekends.

Rosie has worked in Thailand at a rescue home for street dogs. She has travelled extensively and been involved with horses in South Africa and elephants in Thailand, Monkeys and birds in Costa Rica and Kagaroos in Australia. At home Rosie has Winnie the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Colin the cat.

Becca gained her NVQ level 2 in Animal Care and started her NVQ level 3. She had done voluntary work with us for many months, before gaining a full time positoin with us. At home she has a cocker spaniels named Tilly and Louis, Leo the Bengal cat and some tropical fish.

Jenny started work for us many years ago at weekends. She has since gone on to complete her A levels and go to university. During her holidays she comes back to us and supports our busy periods. Jenny has a labrador and border collie at home and is an active participant in dog agility events.

Andrew is Chris and Stella's eldest son and has grown up with the kennels including nursing puppies who have lost their mum as well as caring for anything from pet lambs to recovering parrots. Andrew is working with the team during the holidays when he is not at University.

Ethan has started with us as an apprentice. He is working towards his NVQ level2. Ethan has done volunteering at a local petting farm for three years. He has previously had gold fish and loves to spend time with family dogs including Simba and Dyson the German Shepherds, Tess & Leo the Patterdale, Jasper the Border Collie Buddy the Labrador and Tilly the Border Terrier.
