The Cattery at Milnthorpe Kennels and Cattery
Split-level cattery units have thermostatic heating which can be adjusted to suit a house cat or those more comfortable in a cooler environment.
The cats have access to their own exercise area with both upper and lower level access (designed to cater for less able cats). Here they can curl up in a comfortable chair, watch the world go by from a well positioned shelf or relax and listen to music. Cats enjoy time spent with ourselves and our staff through brushing, cuddles or just a chat as the individual cat indicates. |
We provide bowls, bedding, treats, toys and cat nap/ pet remedy spray all within the price. We can cater for special diets or specific needs. For our cats, we stock as standard the following range of cat foods for adults; Felix pouches, Go Cat, Hills, Iams, James Wellbeloved, Purina one, Whiskas (Jelly and Gravy). Our experienced and professional team can also provide a wide range of medication and treatments including insulin injections free of charge. Please contact us to discuss your pet's specific requirements.
Toys and bedding from home are welcome in the cat units, but it is helpful to us if the items are clearly labelled and are washable. This is to identify items that have been washed or accidentally carried outside their area in play.

Vaccination Policy All pets must come with an up to date vacination card. We request that all cats are vacinated against Leukemia, which is normally included with the annual booster, but if you are not sure, check with your vet. We recommend that all pets recieve routine flea and worming treatment as recommended by your vets.
